SRMIST Signs MoU with Amrita School of Ayurveda to Strengthen Research in Indian Systems of Medicine
SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Amrita School of Ayurveda, marking a significant step toward advancing academic and research collaboration in the Indian Systems of Medicine (ISM).
The MoU aims to foster interdisciplinary cooperation between modern science and traditional medical knowledge systems, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based research, innovation, and societal impact. Through this partnership, both institutions seek to jointly explore areas of mutual interest in Ayurveda and allied disciplines, integrating scientific validation with classical wisdom.
Under the agreement, SRMIST and the Amrita School of Ayurveda will collaborate on joint research projects, academic exchanges, faculty and student interactions, workshops, seminars, and collaborative publications.
