Nandha College of Technology Organizes Six-Day FDP on Effective Methods and Ethical AI for Research Publication
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Nandha College of Technology successfully organized a Six-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) titled “Effective Methods and Ethical AI for Research Publication in High Impact Journals” from 09 March 2026 to 14 March 2026 in hybrid mode. The programme was conducted in association with the institution’s Research and Development Cell.
The FDP was designed to empower faculty members, researchers, and doctoral scholars with systematic research methodologies, responsible AI practices, and publication strategies aimed at enhancing the quality and impact of scholarly output. The initiative reflects the institution’s continued commitment to academic excellence and ethical research practices.
The programme commenced with an insightful session by Dr. P. Kalyanasundaram, who guided participants on Research Problem Identification and Title Framing, emphasizing clarity, originality, and research relevance. This was followed by a session from Dr. M. Prakash on Systematic Literature Review and Research Gap Analysis, where participants gained hands-on exposure to structured review techniques and gap identification strategies.
Addressing emerging trends in ethical research practices, Dr. G. Saravanan delivered a thought-provoking lecture on Responsible AI-Based Research Gap Analysis, highlighting the balanced and ethical integration of AI tools in academic investigations.
On the third and fourth days, Dr. G. Padmapriya elaborated on Preparing Abstract and Introduction with Research Contributions, while Dr. M. N. Kavitha provided detailed insights into Structuring Methodology, Results, and Future Work to ensure clarity and coherence in research manuscripts. Dr. N. Vasuki further emphasized Responsible AI in Methodology and Results Writing, underlining transparency, accountability, and ethical compliance.
The fifth day featured Dr. Manivel Kandasamy, who addressed Publication Ethics and Responsible Use of AI in Research Writing, sensitizing participants to plagiarism policies, authorship ethics, and AI governance standards. The FDP concluded with an engaging session by Dr. N. Krishnaraj on Journal Selection, Paper Review, and Submission Process, offering practical strategies for publishing in high-impact journals.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members across various institutions, fostering meaningful discussions and collaborative learning. Interactive sessions, expert guidance, and practical insights significantly enhanced participants’ understanding of high-quality research publication practices.
